Last season the AA team went to Revy for a 10 day film trip. We had been looking for some new riders to join us and Ken Evans kept saying, “man that Luke Rohde guy out of Washington has been rippin it up, we should have him come to Revy….”.
So there I was sitting at my desk in Truckee California. It was February 10th at 6am, I was glued to the weather sites, tracking any bit of snow fall within an 8 hour radius. Tahoe just wasn’t getting any storms since New Years, and the snow pack was solid as a rock…..(sierra cement fo sho). I had just missed out on an all time trip with Noah Evans and Rob Hoff, due to not enough fuel $$ for a solo drive to Revelstoke. So I had been trying to figure out where I could go to ride any type of soft snow with a good base. I had calls out to Randy in Utah, Shane in Idaho, Eric in the north west, and Scott Fraiser out of Bend OR.
Check out the AA4 film teaser on youtube! Last season was spent by the Alpine Assassins on the hunt for epic riding and amazing terrain. We raised the bar with the riding that went down and had a few new faces join us for some amazing road trips. The full length film will be available this October at your local sled shop dealer! But for now get fired up by watching some highlights from the film in the AA4 teaser!
